The CF chiller bypass made from PVC valves has been replaced with a 1/2" and two 3/8" brass valves. The two 3/8" valves open/close access to the chiller whereas the 1/2" valve sits between them to divert the wort into the chiller input.

This picture shows the CF chiller in action; the 1/2" valve is closed and the two 3/8" valves are open. On the left, in front of the chiller, you can see a 0.2 micron air filter connected to a 1/4" needle valve. This type of valve permits a very fine adjustment, limiting the air sucked in by the pump. You can see small air bubbles in the tubing leading back into the pump.
