jsmoriss: Mixing the grains into the strike liquor. It's very important that the grains are mixed in quickly (to avoid excessive heat loss) and thoroughly -- clumps and/or balls of milled grain have to be avoided to make sure all the starch is properly converted. Since we hadn't brewed in about 2 years, we were more or less successful. I had to spend a little extra time breaking up the clumps. :-)
