Diabolissimo Xmas Party

Posted by on December 24, 2006 at 02:51 PM UTC in categories Special Events

The Diabolissimo team has done it again ... Prepare fabulous meals for Xmas for their friends and clients. The Kyoto martini drink brought colors to the evening and we hope no hangovers. Gyosa, Suishi plates, dumplings, ... lots of wine, excellent cake filled our stomachs. Beautiful creations and presents were offered among team members. Music from the 1980's was playing away. We have a special performance from Mimi, the youngest of the Diabolissimo team - Don't miss it ! Merry Xmas to all. Thanks for all your good work.

Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada Triathlon

Posted by on August 08, 2005 at 02:56 PM UTC in categories Special Events

Pete and JS did very well at the triathlon. Pete got first place for the Canadian Breed and 2nd for Open male. He was showed by Steve - a friend of Janet - that is a professionnal handler. JS and Pete got a very good performance at the Obedience Novice A. The WC land went very well but the water test were above Pete training abilities. Pete won the 4th place of the Chessie Traithlon. That is way cool. JS is my super trainer. Mélanie is the strict manager/judge. The tree of us make a good team :*)

Senior Hunter Test in Maxville

Posted by on September 19, 2004 at 07:28 PM UTC in categories Special Events

The Senior Hunter test was much of a challenge for most dogs. Only 2 got their title. We got to assist the Master Hunter test ... It was really impressing and most dogs in that test did really well. The land portion consisted of 4 retrieves with much distractions and a separate blind.

WCI in Maxville

Posted by on September 19, 2004 at 07:19 PM UTC in categories Special Events

It was a beautiful day field with lots of emotions for our friends Maggie and Alan. It was very interesting to witness the WC and WCI competitions in a very beautiful setting. We know what to expect now and we saw that even with the best dogs and trainers everything can happen. The dog olympics cannot be won everytime, but it is important to have fun and do our best !

Carole and Isabelle's Wedding Party

Posted by on June 16, 2004 at 03:05 PM UTC in categories Special Events

It took a few days to get all the pictures online, but they're finally ready. I took about 250 pictures and selected 110 for the final cut. Post-processing included importing PIM II (Print Image Matching II) information, cropping, adjusting levels, and some (slight) sharpening. It's all standard stuff, but it takes a while to run through 110 photos. :-) There's space to leave a comment bellow each photo, so feel free to express yourself. :-)

If you would like a full high-resolution copy of a photo (jpeg file), please contact us and we'll make the photo available for purchase on MVPix.com. Once you've downloaded the high-res file, you can have prints made at any online photo lab (like ez prints or Shutterfly), or burn it on CD and bring it to your local photo development center.

Microcell X-Mas Party

Posted by on December 21, 2003 at 03:34 AM UTC in categories Special Events

Yep ... I celebrated my fifth year at Microcell. They organized a good party as always. The theme was "James Bond/Bond Girls". Evidently, I got dressed and put lots of makup for the occassion. They had the Bond theme going inside the Medley bar. It was kind of neat. They only thing they did not think of is ... prepare for Martinis orders. There was 1 barman in the bar that new how to make Martinis and they did not have any olives. James Bond drink was a dry Martini Shaken not stired. They went out of their way to make this night a great event with music, band, spectacle, ... movie clip with some competitors dialogue and great presents :*)
